Your Greatest Year Ever – Power Lunch Launch Event
Nationally renowned author, motivational speaker, corporate trainer, and life coach Koran Bolden has created an epic buzz around making a powerful impact in the lives of millennial entrepreneurs, business owners and professionals. The “Your Greatest Year Ever” event kick-off in June 2018, and the follow-up in June 2019, drew between 250 and 300 accomplished, professionally dressed to impress individuals both years.
The gathering came with community recognitions for those often left unsung in their efforts to grow their businesses, hire staff and build the communities in which they live.
This notable event takes place at Washington University’s Charles McKnight Center and attracts the best and the brightest to glean from individuals in high pursuit of success, representing an array of professional fields, in an environment thriving with successful tips and oozing with real-talk for real people.
This year Mocha latté served as Mistress of Ceremony and brought the room to an empowered roar by sharing her heartfelt story of “pushing through no matter what.”
This year brought a stellar lineup of professionals for a true heart-to-heart discussion. The line-up included the following:
Connell Boone, Restauranteur
Cedric Cobb, The Best Pocket Square CEO and Stylist for Ray Lewis, on the heels of his Shark Tank Win

A strong, power-packed keynote speech was offered by Ms. Latasha Fox, two-time finalist on Survivor and owner-operator of Chick-Fil-A Restaurant in Florissant, MO.
Inspiring words and concrete tips were offered by strong community leaders and business owners, namely Becky J. Hatter of BBBS, Reverend Larry Lee of Andy’s Seasoning, Keith Turner of Turner Technologies and Veta Jeffery of the Heartland St. Louis Black Chamber of Commerce and Midwest BankCentre.
The event was capped with the Heartland St. Louis Black Chamber, Big Brothers Big Sisters and Andy’s Seasonings partnering to sponsor not only chamber membership for 50 attendees but the opportunity to attend an intimate next step mentoring luncheon.
The dates of the luncheon are July 12th and 15th. The luncheon will be held at The Avenue in Clayton, MO, located at 12 N Meramec Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63105. An intimate setting to provide a power packed two-hour session, allowing for time for the winners to ask difficult questions and have an opportunity to be held to great levels of accountability as St. Louis needs them to succeed. In recognizing that with great success comes great responsibility, this group will be positioned to set the bar instead of seeking it.
